Our name comes from the Latin exēgī , “I have accomplished”, and recalls the famous verse by Horace: “Exēgī monumentum aere perennius” .

For over a century we have carefully cultivated our vines on the Lucca hills , respecting the natural rhythms and enhancing native varieties such as Sangiovese and Trebbiano for spicy red wines and light, fresh whites .
